Regarding the measurement of hydrogen pressure

The hydrogen pressure is 1.6 MPa and the temperature is 100 degrees. I used two types of piezoresistive elements that did not have gold-plated diaphragms; one was used for two years while the other was used for two weeks. However, the failure rate of the element that was used for two years was much higher compared to that of the one used for two weeks when used in other applications. I would like to ask everyone why this situation occurs.
Hydrogen pressure is 12 MPa, temperature is 285 degrees; an HC276 diaphragm is used, with an expected service life of 1 year. I’m not sure what kind of diaphragm is used upstairs, as its failure rate seems to be quite high
Is a gold-plated diaphragm necessary for measuring H2 pressure? Under consideration
Theoretically, gold plating is used, but in practical applications, whether it is gold plated or not doesn’t pose much of an issue during the warranty period. But if there is a problem, the manufacturer usually attributes it to whether the diaphragm is gold-plated.
