How to perform pressure testing on jacketed vessels?
First, perform a pressure test on the inner cylinder; once it passes, weld the jacket and then conduct a pressure test inside the jacket.

For containers with jackets, a pressure test on the inner cylinder should be conducted first; only after it passes can the jacket be welded on, followed by a pressure test on the jacket itself
First, pressurize the inner cylinder; only after it passes the test should the jacket be assembled and welded, followed by a pressure resistance test on the jacket. It is important to check whether the drawings specify any requirements regarding maintaining pressure in the inner cylinder, as failure to do so may lead to instability and significant deformation of the inner cylinder.
It is best to proceed in accordance with the tolerance specifications, and refer to the technical requirements of the drawings
What was said later is good and deserves extra points; otherwise, when testing the jacket for pressure, it’s possible for the inner tank to be damaged – resulting in deformation such as negative pressure or even more severe conditions. It’s similar to what happened to the oxygen buffer tank in our factory, where it became deflated due to negative pressure. Ugh
