Do newly designed boiler products still require evaluation by corresponding certification agencies for new product assessment? Such as thermal testing? Dust testing, etc.?
It shouldn’t be necessary. There are boiler performance tests after grid connection.
The newly designed boiler products must comply with the requirements of Article 12 of the Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment; the boiler design documents must undergo evaluation in accordance with the Rules for the Evaluation of Boiler Design Documents by inspection and testing institutions approved by the state council’s department responsible for safety supervision of special equipment (usually the provincial special equipment supervision and inspection institutes), and only after a certification stamp is applied to the drawings can production proceed. No thermal testing or tests for dust and the like are required.
That’s what is said, but in actual use, many user organizations put forward such requirements, or they are also taken into consideration during the bidding process. It’s not a mandatory requirement, but it is still necessary to provide a thermal testing report if possible.
