How much pressure is considered high pressure and how to classify it?
It is basically consistent with the pressure classification of equipment and pipelines. When the pressure level is 10 MPa≤P<100 MPa, the stop valve on the pipeline can be called a high-pressure stop valve. ； When the pressure level is 1.6 MPa≤p<10.0 MPa, the stop valve on the pipeline can be called a medium pressure stop valve. Classification by nominal pressure (1) Vacuum valve: Refers to valves whose working pressure is lower than standard atmospheric pressure. (2) Low pressure valve: Refers to valves with nominal pressure PN ≤1.6Mpa. (3) Medium pressure valve: Refers to valves with nominal pressure PN of 2.5, 4.0, and 6.4Mpa. (4) High pressure valve: Refers to valves whose industrial pressure PN is 10~80Mpa. (5) Ultra-high pressure valve: Refers to valves with nominal pressure PN≥100Mpa.
