At what stage is it appropriate to arrange the transportation of gasoline from the absorption and stabilization section of the newly built delayed coking unit? Diesel transportation phase of the device? Is it still in the stage of transporting paraffin oil?
If it is a newly built coking unit, the transportation of gasoline from the absorption and stabilization section can be arranged at any stage; it can be transported separately from the preceding sections. If preparation for startup is underway, oil transfer can be carried out during the wax oil transfer phase, simultaneously with the transfer of gasoline from the crude gasoline tanks.
It is better to schedule the transportation of gasoline from the absorption and stabilization section of the newly built delayed coking unit during the wax oil transportation phase, as this facilitates smooth connection.
When we first started operations, there was no transportation of paraffin oil or diesel!
1. The gasoline transportation can be maintained stably in theory, whether the plant is in the diesel transportation phase or the wax oil transportation phase; 2. From the perspective of reasonable work scheduling, it is more appropriate to carry out the wax oil transportation phase first; this allows gasoline to be introduced simultaneously with that from the previous stage, thereby avoiding repetitive tasks ; 3. There is no need to introduce gasoline too early; if the system is operating on diesel, any problems that arise require a long time to resolve. Introducing gasoline at this stage can have negative effects, such as posing safety risks and leading to volatilization and waste. . . . . .
If, during the transport of wax oil, the absorption and stabilization system is used for transporting gasoline, then during the oil transportation process, especially when the temperature of the wax oil rises, wouldn’t it be easier for problems detected by the absorption and stabilization system to affect operations? Why not schedule the gasoline transport during the diesel transport phase? Wouldn’t problems be detected and resolved earlier that way?
In my opinion, the transport of diesel is mainly related to coking and distillation; it has little to do with absorption and stabilization, so generally there are no problems. In coking and distillation processes, crude gasoline is sent to the top buffer tank of the distillation tower in order to prevent issues from arising during the transport of diesel, as crude gasoline can only be sent back out of the plant if problems occur, which would be rather troublesome.
Try to transport the oil as early as possible; that way, any issues can be dealt with more easily
