Regarding furnace tube decoking issues

Please tell me how to deal with coking inside the furnace tube of the heat carrier heating furnace. The heat carrier uses diesel. Some people say that the coke can be burned off, but we are afraid that the temperature cannot be controlled well and the furnace tube will be burned out. Some people say that it can be cleaned online. Can anyone provide some mature experience in this regard?
It seems that there is no real way to clear the coke. This is what I know. The only better way is to test the thermal oil every year and replace the oil in time. Otherwise, the impact on the boiler will be really big.
