(Our plant has 4 coal hoppers): 1, 4, 2, 3 – the rotation speed of the screw feeders on the coke ovens with a length of 3 or 6 meters. Around 80; what is the most appropriate pressure setting for the coal charging gas collection pipe in a 4,6-meter coke oven? For coke ovens with a length of 160–180 mm and a height of 5–6 meters, what is the most appropriate pressure and liquid level for the circulating ammonia water? Around 2.5 – the best solution for preventing graphite formation at the coal loading port of 6.6-meter coke ovens. Maintain an appropriate roof space temperature, burn out the furnace, clean it manually, and use scrapers and similar tools for large-scale cleaning!

The rotation speed of the screw feeder on coal trucks is related to the diameter of the screw; for a diameter of 635 millimeters, a rotation speed of 30–50 revolutions per minute is appropriate. Meanwhile, this applies to the method of dumping coal as well. Coal is fed in from four hoppers simultaneously. Requirements for coal feeding amount, rotation speed, and number of rotations of the four feeding screws: (Coal hoppers are numbered NO.1, NO.2, NO.3, NO.4 from the coke side to the machine side)

I’ve learned some new knowledge. Our factory is building 6-meter coke ovens, and I hope this knowledge can be put to use.
For a 6-meter coke oven, a screw feeder with a rotation speed of 30–50 revolutions per minute seems a bit low.
The screw rotation speed should not be too high, otherwise it is prone to clogging! The speed of rotation of the screw only affects the length of time required to load coal! It is the rotational speed of the screw that affects the amount of coal loaded; the coal loading time is generally kept between 60 and 120 seconds!
