Can the waste gas generated after the steam turbine pump does work be recovered directly? Which refineries have devices for recovering waste gas? Will direct recovery affect the pumping efficiency?
Of course it can be recycled – it depends on whether it’s worth recycling, what the pressure and temperature of the waste steam are like Where are you going to use it? Consider the payback period for the equipment cost – there are plenty of such devices available, and the technology behind them is already very mature. It’s being used everywhere. At present, its recycling is widespread in the refineries of Sinopec and CNPC. Will direct recycling affect the pumping efficiency? It has no impact.
A lot of work is done in terms of exhaust gas recovery; as long as the pressure difference is taken into account, there will be no problems, and it won’t affect the operation of the reciprocating pump!
Can the exhaust gas from a turbine pump after doing work be directly fed into a 0.35 MPa steam network? Our system operates at a minimum pressure of 0.35 MPa in the pipeline network. The pump in question is a catalytic type, and it serves as the lubricating oil pump for the unit; we are concerned that this could affect the stable supply of lubricating oil to the unit, thereby leading to its shutdown. Are there any examples in domestic refineries of such direct recycling into the pipeline network?
