What is the minimum operating temperature for 16Mn hot-rolled pipes? What is the lowest temperature at which 16Mn hot-rolled pipes can be used? Where can I check it? What is the impact energy value?

Based on the calculations in GB150-1998, section 4.3.3, and Table 4-4, the minimum operating temperature for 16Mn hot-rolled pipes should be above –20°C (note: this value does not include this temperature). The impact energy is not specified; the relevant standard GB6479-2000 shall be applied.
-40 degrees: For steel pipes, according to standard GB6479, the supply condition for 16Mn is normalized; and in accordance with clause 4.3.3 of GB150, such steel pipes can be used at -40 degrees
GB6479-2000 specifies that the heat treatment state for 16Mn pipes should be normalizing; otherwise, it does not meet the requirements of GB150 and cannot be used as pressure vessels. Section 4.3 of GB6479-2000 stipulates that: \"When the final rolling temperature of hot-rolled pipes corresponds to the normalizing temperature, it can replace normalizing.\" The minimum temperature for normalizing 16Mn pipes is –40 degrees Celsius. The impact value is in accordance with GB6479-2000

The minimum operating temperature for 16Mn hot-rolled pipes is -40°C, as specified in GB150, page 10, section 4.3.3
16Mn normalized tubes can be used at a minimum temperature of only -40 degrees. Instead of 16Mn hot-rolled pipes, the minimum operating temperature is –40 degrees
