The 2008 Academic Symposium on Coal Resources, Coal Quality and Coke Quality, as well as New Technologies for Coal Preparation, organized by the Coke Coal Resources Professional Committee of the China Coking Industry Association and hosted by Anshan Thermal Energy Research Institute Co., Ltd. of China Iron and Steel Group, was held in Xiamen, Fujian from November 27 to 28, 2008. The theme of the seminar is to explore coal resources, coal quality and coke quality, as well as new coal preparation technologies. The seminar will invite Professor Tang Yuegang from China University of Mining and Technology to deliver a special lecture to the participants, and it will provide a platform for exchanges among various coking enterprises.
