The CO concentration at the construction site is extremely high; I often feel dizzy. I informed the client about this, but they ignored me. Using a CO detector, the highest concentration detected was 150 ppm. What is the **allowed maximum concentration of CO in the air according to regulations? Are there any **mandatory standards, and what are their names and standard numbers?
Please refer to GBZ2.1-2007 \"Occupational Exposure Limits for Hazardous Factors in the Workplace – Part 1: Chemical Hazardous Factors\"; item 295 specifies the occupational exposure limit for carbon monoxide. In areas that are not at high altitudes, the time-weighted average allowable concentration PC-TWA is 15 mg/m3. The permissible concentration for short-term exposure PC-STEL, which allows exposure for a short period of time (15 minutes) on the condition that PC-TWA is respected, is set at 30 mg/m3. The maximum allowable concentration of CO is 30 mg/m3. Converted, it’s 24 ppm, which is the standard for chemical plants. Do you think this works for you?
