Over-surface can be translated as: excess area (amount of area surplus), extended area. Here, “over” means “excessive, in excess”.
Thank you. One more question: Is it necessary to include such a large margin in heat exchanger design? Or is it only designed like a vacuum condenser?
I was also looking at the heat exchanger data sheets earlier; the typical margin is around 20%~30%. A margin of 50% as you mentioned is indeed quite high
