In other words: Is the discharge of reclaimed water permitted in zero wastewater discharge?
When did zero wastewater discharge become a requirement? ? ? How come I’ve never heard of it? If it meets the reuse standards, why is it still discharged?
LZ doesn’t understand the concept of zero emissions. Zero emissions mean that no pollutants are released, whether it is reclaimed water or tap water – nothing is discharged, because if anything is released, it cannot be considered zero emissions. Zero emissions generally require wastewater to be treated before it is reused in the process or as water for other processes. What is currently referred to as zero emissions is still in the conceptual stage; it can be achieved in the short term, but not over the long term. This is not due to technical limitations, but rather to treatment costs. Manufacturers generally seek profits and do not engage in loss-making businesses. Even with excellent treatment, ions accumulate over time, and the cost of removing these ions to restore balance is considerable. I’m just saying it; zero emissions – there’s still a long way to go.
The landlord should carefully check the requirements imposed by the environmental protection authorities on the factory. Since zero wastewater discharge is required, no limits will be set for the amount of wastewater or water pollutants that can be discharged from this factory; in other words, it is not allowed to release any water pollutants outside. Local environmental monitoring certainly sets specific requirements for water discharge; as long as these limits are met, there should be no issues with discharge. Moreover, I recall that the concept of zero discharge means that the wastewater discharge standards are met, not that no discharge occurs at all. The original poster, please clarify the concept.
As long as the **required emission standards are met, emissions are allowed; it’s very difficult to avoid emitting anything. At present, we can only do our best to reduce emissions
