During coal feeding, ash locking, and pressure relief in the Ruhr furnace, fluctuations in the gas flow rate at the furnace’s outlet occur. There are two operating modes: with 4 units in operation and with 6 units in operation. Which of these modes results in smaller fluctuations under normal conditions? What is the general range of fluctuations? What percentage?
I’m not quite sure what you mean by the two operating conditions of 4 units and 6 units – how does that work?
Did it happen with several furnaces at the same time, or just one? The outlet main pipe should be a master pipe, right?
Gray locks generally use medium-pressure steam; how can this affect the fluctuations in the gas flow rate at the outlet of the Lurgi furnace? Steam is also useful for pressurizing coal locks; using gas to pressurize or depressurize them only affects the pressurization process. Pressurization pipelines usually have flow control orifice plates, which are used to minimize fluctuations in the outlet flow. Moreover, it’s not possible for a coal lock to be pressurized and depressurized at the same time – by staggering these processes, any impact on flow rate can be avoided
If the boiler meets the requirements for use in a vaporizer, pressurizing the ash lock may cause a decrease in the steam pressure in Central Asia, which in turn affects the amount of steam entering the gasification agent. Under the control of the main controller, the oxygen level is reduced appropriately to maintain a stable oxygen-to-gas ratio; this is equivalent to a temporary reduction in load, and as a result, there are short-term fluctuations in the amount of gas output. As long as there is sufficient steam in the boiler, and unless multiple boilers have their ash locks pressurized at the same time, the effect is generally not so noticeable. Therefore, it is essential to strictly avoid pressurizing two furnaces at the same time. For pressurizing the coal lock, one stream of gas comes from the cooled raw gas, while the other stream comes from the gas within the unit itself; this has some impact on the outlet, but it is not significant. Generally, as long as more than 2 pressure charging cycles are not used, it will not have a significant impact on operating conditions or furnace pressure. But keep in mind that multiple furnaces cannot be pressurized at the same time to prevent the pressure in the subsequent system from dropping, which could cause pressure fluctuations in that system as well as in the vaporization furnace.
