Hello everyone, another question about standards: what are the differences between normal type P, intrinsically safe type B/i, and flameproof type B/d?
The on-site environment imposes different requirements on instruments, necessitating the selection of different types. If there is a risk of explosion, use an explosion-proof type; if it is necessary to prevent sparks from reaching dangerous areas, use this type; if no such requirements exist, the ordinary type is the cheapest option: lol :lol
I just want to know that the intrinsically safe type is powered by a safety barrier with a voltage of DC24V, but I’m not sure about how to wire the flameproof and regular types, nor what the required supply voltage is.
