Bearing substitution problem

The bearing used for the belt counterweight roller in our factory was a 1316 self-aligning ball bearing. However, due to frequent bearing damage, I analyzed that the load was too large. Therefore, we decided to use a 12316 tapered roller bearing that can bear thrust on one side, but this bearing does not have the ability to adjust. I would like to ask if you can replace it in this situation? Thanks!
Can be replaced, roller bearings generally only bear radial force. Let’s try another group.
