Is there a difference when simulating the construction process in PROII with valves and without them?

Previously, the simulations were done without valves, and someone told me that there’s no difference between having valves or not. But recent simulations have shown that there is still a certain difference between those with valves and those without them; the systems with valves can converge, while they fail to converge when the valves are removed. I would appreciate it if you could help me understand what the differences are Thank you
Valves are used to change pressure; the failure to converge is caused by changes in the input pressure conditions
So if I don’t use a valve, the pressure right after it will be fine, right?
