There is an existing standalone facility; since its water source is groundwater from deep wells and the water quality meets drinking water standards, no water purification system has been considered for production purposes. However, to ensure the safety of drinking water in residential areas and prevent secondary pollution and changes in water quality during the transport of groundwater, I am considering installing a small-scale treatment unit with a processing capacity of around 20 cubic meters per hour. I was wondering if any experts could suggest the key aspects that need to be addressed in such a system. Of course, I am also looking for manufacturers with expertise in this field to get in touch with.
Use the previous set of reverse osmosis water purification system. I just drink pure water directly.
Coating treatment is of course the best option, but it involves high costs and is complicated to implement. If it is well water, a manganese sand filter and disinfection equipment are mainly required; the former is used to prevent high levels of SS and iron ions, while the latter serves to disinfect and kill microorganisms. Personal opinions are for reference only.
Cheap solution: Build a water storage tank, allow it to settle first, then use quartz sand for filtration, and subsequently add chlorine dioxide or bleaching powder – this should be sufficient to meet the GB drinking water standards. The more expensive method: first filter with quartz sand, then with activated carbon; resin exchange may be used or not, depending on the water quality. The water then goes into a storage tank, and disinfection is applied to the water exiting the tank using chlorine dioxide, ultraviolet light, or ozone, before it reaches the point of use. Key point to note: The quality of the raw water must be analyzed ; Is the water consumption stable? ; The pressure of water.
Deep well water generally has a high hardness level. If it meets the required standards, the main concerns are bacterial contamination and secondary contamination in the pipes. To prevent such issues and handle emergencies, it is advisable to have a simple chlorination system on hand to ensure the quality of the water. It is important to monitor water quality in real time; it’s all about putting people first.

There are generally no major issues with groundwater; you can install a sand filter tank, and add sodium hypochlorite or bleach to the water coming out of it. With such a small water volume, the investment in other equipment is too high.
