What is the difference between an LNG receiving station and an LNG plant?

In my understanding, LNG receiving stations are located in coastal areas to receive liquefied natural gas shipped from abroad; this gas is stored in large LNG storage tanks or spherical tanks before being vaporized and distributed to various consumption sites. An LNG plant is a facility that processes natural gas and liquefies it. I still don’t quite understand the fundamental difference between them. Who can tell us about their manufacturing processes?
My understanding is: to put it simply, an LNG receiving station is used for storing LNG and vaporizing it for distribution to various consumption points; it functions like a grain storage facility, responsible for storage and sales； An LNG plant is a facility that processes natural gas and liquefies it; it functions like a grain-growing area, with these facilities being interconnected yet relatively independent of each other. Their processes vary greatly; they have more knowledge about liquefaction plants, which, in simple terms, involve purifying and drying natural gas before carrying out low-temperature separation.
