The workshop is preparing to install a reactor system that uses carbon dioxide. The volume of gas flow is high; the theoretical daily consumption of carbon dioxide is 4.5 tons. Such a large amount of carbon dioxide can only be stored in liquid form. I haven’t understood how to transfer carbon dioxide from transport tanks into the liquid storage tanks. Also, I want to know how to prevent the liquid carbon dioxide from solidifying when it’s in use. I would appreciate some guidance from those who are more experienced

Obviously, the reaction needs to proceed continuously for 24 hours; it’s not possible for the carbon dioxide tank truck to stay parked in your workshop the whole time just to keep the reaction going! In that case, at least two tank trucks would be needed to supply carbon dioxide gas, as the reaction cannot be interrupted. Moreover, the tank trucks would then become part of the process system, which is clearly unreasonable. Carbon dioxide is in liquid form when it is introduced into the liquefaction tank, but what the reaction requires is gaseous carbon dioxide. How could the tank trucks withstand the process of vaporizing carbon dioxide directly inside them? When there is sufficient vaporization area, carbon dioxide will not be in solid or liquid form but will be gaseous; if it is in solid form as dry ice, it indicates that the vaporization area is small.
My current problem is that I don’t know how to transfer this highly pressurized and cold liquid from the tank truck into the workshop’s storage tanks. Moreover, I’m not sure whether it will solidify during the process of vaporization and transfer to the reaction vessel.
The pressure in the tank truck is generally around 20 kilograms, and the temperature of the liquid is -20 degrees Celsius. As long as the outlet temperature of the heat exchanger remains above -20 degrees and the pressure stays below 20 kilograms, vaporization will occur. It is recommended to check the saturated vapor pressure of carbon dioxide; we are planning to install a carbon dioxide liquefaction unit in the near future, and I am currently studying this topic. This is just my personal opinion for reference only
