I have a really stupid question – it arises when opening CAD drawings

I’m really bad at CAD – I don’t know how to use it or draw anything; I can only look at drawings that have been created by others. Sometimes, when I open a legend, it asks me to select a font. After I choose Chinese, the characters in the legend become garbled and look somewhat like Japanese characters. I’d like to ask the experts what’s going on here. I’m using AUTOCAD 2004
The font library is incomplete or the font selection is incorrect. For example, if someone’s image uses the HZTXT font, opening that image with another font will result in garbled text. The solution to this problem is to first copy someone else’s font, place it in the FONTS folder within the CAD directory, and then ask them what font they used to open it – that’s it.
In the text properties, change all fonts to getix, and use gbcbig for larger fonts
For this issue~ if there are no other font libraries available, the simplest solution is to select characters when opening the file. If no matching characters are found, it’s best to use gbcbic.shx as a replacement. Based on personal experience, GB standard characters need to be replaced the most often~

When trying to open it, check for the names of the missing font files, locate those files, and place them in the FONTS folder within the installation files; this way, no error message about missing fonts will appear next time. The common font for CAD2004 is txt; select this one.
In fact, all you need to do is download some Chinese SHX fonts for CAD and save them in the Fonts folder within the CAD installation directory.
I’ve encountered the same situation as the original poster; I usually choose Song typeface when it’s on the left, and GBC typeface when it’s on the right. National standards are generally recognizable. However, drawings with coding errors still appear, and it is hoped that this issue can be resolved as soon as possible.
However, I didn’t encounter any problems using versions from 2006 or 2008; it’s only after reinstalling the operating system on my computer that this issue arose. I’m very puzzled. I wonder if anyone has encountered such a situation. I have copied many fonts to the windows/fonts folder located in the root directory of the system drive.
