Which companies in China are strong in vacuum evaporation and distillation design?
There are many institutions in China with strong capabilities in distillation design; for example, in the north, there is the **Distillation Engineering Center** at Tianjin University, Luoyang Engineering Company of Sinopec, and Hebei University of Technology, while in the south, there are Nanjing University, East China University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology, and Kaining Company in Nanjing. I’m not very familiar with vacuum evaporation design. There seems to be a company in Zigong, Sichuan that specializes in salt chemical engineering design; I can’t remember its exact name, but it can be found on Google. Tianjin University is a leader in distillation design in China. The institution in Zigong that specializes in vacuum evaporation design is the Zigong Light Industry Design and Research Institute; it has since been restructured and integrated into Sichuan Jiuda Salt Industry Group.
I only know it’s Tian Da, an expert in packed towers, led by Old Yu.
When it comes to distillation, Tianjin University and Hebei University of Technology are the best choices. The South is also a good option, but it seems that costs are higher there. People from the North tend to be more responsible when it comes to handling tasks, providing maintenance, and offering guidance. However, the South has its advantages as well; I’m not sure why, but equipment in the South is cheaper than in the North. Is it because of lower costs there?
