What are the requirements for the structural design of the inlet pipes for flammable and explosive liquid media in pressure vessels?
One more question: Since the medium in the storage tank is flammable and explosive, how is the return pipe of the condenser connected to the tank arranged? How is it connected to the groove? Does the tube extending into the pipe go deep toward the pipe wall, or does it lead directly into the tank? Where is it specified? Static electricity issue.
Second question: The storage tank has a capacity of 800 cubic meters; the medium is alcohol, the temperature is at room temperature, and the pressure is at atmospheric pressure. A condenser is now installed at the gas phase outlet on the top of the tank. What should be the diameter of the gas phase inlet pipe for the condenser? How large should the vapor vent pipe be? What considerations should be taken into account in the design of storage tanks? Is DN100 for inlet and DN50 for outlet appropriate? The Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises stipulates that when air may be present inside containers holding flammable liquids, the inlet pipe should be connected to the lower part of the container; If access must be from above, it should extend to 200 mm below the bottom of the container. Furthermore, the flange pressure rating of pipes transporting flammable media should preferably not be too low, even for pipes operating at atmospheric pressure.
