Methanol filling operating procedures ⒈ Preparation work before filling: ⒈⒈Filling personnel must wear protective glasses or masks and rubber gloves during filling operations. ⒈⒉Contact the shift dispatcher and squad leader before filling. 2. Inspect the tanker before filling. The inspection content includes ⒉⒈Check the tanker inspection mark and whether the nameplate period has exceeded the time limit. ⒉⒉The tank must have safety valves, inlet and outlet valves, and the edge seals are intact, sensitive and reliable, and the exposed pipes of the tank. The valve must be equipped with a safety protection cover. If there is residual liquid in the tank, the name of the material in the tank must be identified. The transport vehicle must be in good condition. The tank should be firmly fixed to the vehicle body. Corresponding safety devices such as static electricity elimination ⒉ ⒍ Vehicle air ducts must be equipped with dampers and circuit systems, and there should be devices for cutting off the main power supply and isolating electric current ⒉ ⒎ Vehicles should be equipped with necessary anti-virus and fire-extinguishing equipment (two bottles each) ⒉⒏Car drivers who transport methanol. The escort must hold a methanol (hazardous chemical) transportation and escort license. ⒊Key points for methanol tank truck filling. ⒊⒈Filling inspection personnel must undergo education and training, pass the examination and hold a certificate to work. The personnel are relatively stable and cannot be replaced at will. ⒊⒉New tank trucks or first maintenance after maintenance When filling for the first time or when there are materials whose names cannot be determined in the tank, it is necessary to report to the Environmental Protection Department and notify the chemical room to take samples and analyze the contents of the tank. ⒊⒊The tank truck must be weighed before filling. ⒊⒋ The tank truck must be stopped at the designated position before filling. The following procedures can be followed. Brake. Handbrake. Turn off the engine. ⒊⒌ Check qualified tank trucks: ①Connect the anti-static grounding wire ②Check and close the tank truck sewage valve ③Connect the metal stainless steel hose or hose quick connector ④Open the tank truck inlet ball valve ⑤Open the output tank outlet valve, start the methanol filling pump, and slowly open the outlet valve ⑥ Check the valve joints, flanges, etc. for leaks. 7. Adjust the filling pump outlet valve after confirming that there is no leakage. Pay attention to the methanol filling speed not being too fast. ⒊⒍ Carefully check the temperature and liquid level changes of the tanker during filling. If any abnormality is found, Under normal circumstances, you should immediately stop the filling pump, close the pump outlet valve, close the emergency shut-off valve of the tanker, and accurately troubleshoot abnormal faults. ⒊⒎ After the filling volume is reached, immediately close the filling pump outlet valve, stop the pump, close the output valve, remove the quick connector and put it in place. Enter the filling barrel to prevent the methanol wine from spilling on the ground. When filling the tanker, carefully fill in the filling record, date, unit, vehicle number, volume, output initial liquid level, minimum liquid level, filling start and end time (hours and minutes), filling person (name, etc.) 4. Precautions for methanol tank trucks: ⒋⒈ The metal stainless steel pipes and hoses used for filling should have certificates or have undergone pressure tests, be inspected regularly, and replaced. ⒋⒉ If leakage is found at the beginning or during the filling, the outlet valve of the filling pump should be quickly closed, the pump should be stopped, the ball valve of the tank truck should be closed, and the storage tank should be closed. Output the valve, and then deal with the leakage point. ⒋⒊ Stop filling immediately during thunder and lightning or if there is a fire nearby. ⒋⒋ Filling personnel must stick to their posts and are not allowed to leave without authorization. ⒋⒌ For tankers without quick-fit joints, a hose should be extended from the top to the bottom of the tanker. The filling speed should not be too fast to prevent methanol from splashing out.
