How should \"net tray rate\" be translated in the design of distillation columns?
Is there any context for the content that the client wants translated? If only 3 words are listed, won’t it be hard to understand the meaning? The meaning of “rate” includes: proportion; ratio; price; grade; rate; fee. The term “net tray rate” can be translated literally as “net tray speed,” but without context, it’s difficult to understand what this refers to It is recommended that the original poster also list the context in which these 3 words appear!
It should be the net flow rate of the tray. If the flow rate is too high, it may lead to uneven distribution of gas and liquid, thereby reducing efficiency.
If it’s in the air separation tower, I think it refers to the screening rate. This still needs to be understood based on the entire text
