Press F1 for instructions; ah, adding 200 sets it to zero in the cold state!
Let me help improve it: change the location to “Hanger Table”. For details, please see the random help. Cold-state zero setting – “Selected spring standard (1–26)” + 200
The petrochemical industry makes more use of hot zero-setting, while the power industry makes more use of cold zero-setting.

Zeroing the system in a hot state is quite useful for high-temperature pipelines; I don’t know where to find information regarding whether to zero it in a cold or hot state, nor how to make the adjustments. I really don’t understand what was said on page 3 – where exactly should the 200 value be added?

It means that springs numbered 200 and above are set at a zero position in the cold state; the spring set ranges from number 1 to 26, and then there are numbers 101 to 126; 201~226 ; 1 Up to 701~726. Their meanings are different; specifically, numbers 201 to 226 represent a cold-state zero setting. Take a closer look at the specific explanations in the F1 help. However, it seems that the new version of CII no longer requires this; one can simply select Cold Load Design, so there’s no need for the +200 adjustment anymore.
