Straight edge of spherical head

Urgent help: I’m facing a design issue related to spherical heads. Do spherical heads have straight edges? The end caps manufactured by this factory have straight edges; in my opinion, straight edges shouldn’t be present
Theoretically, straight edges are not necessary; the edge stress at the junction where the spherical head meets the cylinder is very low, so it does not need to be considered separately. Moreover, the spherical head itself is already quite deep, so straight edges are generally not added.
It’s probably left there by the manufacturer for their own convenience in manufacturing.
The straight edges are left by the end cap manufacturers; the container manufacturer should remove them. It is not allowed for these straight edges to remain on the container, as otherwise they will be considered part of the cylinder. The calculated thickness of the cylinder is nearly twice that of the end cap, which will result in excessive stress in those straight edge sections. Unless the thickness of the end cap is set to equal that of the cylinder.
Theoretically, it’s not necessary; it’s fine to keep it if the thickness is sufficient.
Straight edges are not required. Container manufacturers should remove it.
