The fundamental difference between Yokogawa CS1000 and CS3000

Apart from the difference in system capacity, what are the actual differences in performance and functionality between the Yokogawa CS1000 and CS3000? I hope everyone will actively participate in the discussion! Thank you!
Apart from system capacity, there doesn’t seem to be much difference. I’m studying CS3000, but I’m using textbooks for CS1000; many things are the same, such as the types and functions of functional blocks
Both the CS1000 and CS3000 were introduced during the period from 1997 to 1999; they are two control systems of different tiers released at the same time, one designed for small to medium-scale applications and the other for large-scale ones. When compared to the CS3000, the CS1000 is by no means obsolete. The 1000 and 3000 hardware systems and network architectures differ slightly, but the configuration monitoring software is similar.
