Could everyone discuss 1. what semi-water gas production technology is being used, and what the methane content is?; 2. For the ammonia synthesis tower used, what is the typical level of inert gas content that should be maintained in it?
We use a lignite Endler furnace to produce water gas, with a methane content in the gas of approximately 2.5% (V%); The internal components of the synthesis tower are Nanjing Guochang type two-axis two-diameter components (1500mm); the inert gas content in the gas entering the tower is greater than 18%, and due to this high level of inert gases, the net ammonia content is only around 12%.
We use a fixed-bed batch gas production technology, with a methane content of 0.8%. DN1200 Guochang three-axis single-diameter ammonia synthesis tower, with 16% methane in the recycle gas. For cold-shock type internals, the ammonia net value is generally not very high.
