The operating pressure of the pipeline is -0.1MPA. What is the design pressure? - Is 0.1MPA a complete vacuum?
For vacuum pipelines equipped with safety control devices, the design pressure shall be the smaller of 1.25 times the maximum deviation or 0.1 MPa, and shall be designed according to external pressure conditions； For vacuum pipelines without safety control devices, the design pressure is 0.1 MPa. Generally, vacuum equipment cannot reach an absolute vacuum of -0.1MPa.
The design pressure is based on the external pressure of 0.1MPA. Pressure test is based on internal pressure 0.2MPA
