1. When using the CAESAR software, according to the instructions in the book, one should click on ‘Input – Piping’ to enter the Spreadsheet, that is, a table. But after I clicked, no table appeared. Is it because there was a problem with my software installation, or are there other steps that need to be followed? 2. Also, when I directly click on File-Open and select an existing file, it won’t open. Is this normal?

I’m also just learning this. The problem I encountered was that the files were all created and a dialog box appeared, but it was minimized; double-clicking didn’t allow it to be maximized. It took me a while to realize that right-clicking would do the trick to maximize it.

That’s because you minimized the output interface when you closed CAESAR last time; as a result, CAESARII will use those previous settings when it starts up, so you need to maximize it
