1. In the annotation style, the text uses style 1 with a font height of 250. Now I am modifying the text style settings and changing the font height for style 1 to 300, but why is the text in my drawings still at 250 instead of 300? The post is not formatted properly; change the font height in the text style to 0. The annotation style can be adjusted using either this font height or a proportion
Yes, as 3L said, in normal text styles the font height is set to 0 by default and is not adjusted. It’s also in the annotation style. If you want to adjust the text height, you can bring up the properties by using Ctrl+1 or the MO command, in order to change the font size of the text.
Haha, you can’t make changes in the text properties; those are meant for text formatting. To modify the text in annotations, you need to do it within the annotation style. On the top toolbar, click on “Annotations”, then “Styles”. Select the type of annotation scale you want to modify, then click “Modify” on the right side. After that, click on “Text” and enter the desired height in the “Text Height” field.
It’s possible that in practical use, you modified the font height of some styles of type 1 to a different value instead of 250, which caused the problem you mentioned.
It should be changed like this: Click on the annotation, find the annotation style, click on \"Modify\", locate the text options, and click on the small box at the end of the text style row; there, you can find the text height, and change it to the desired value. Also, change the text height in the text options to the desired value as well. That’s it.
Font height in the annotation style: refers to the height of the text used for annotations, which is part of the text style settings. If the usual font height needs to be changed to 300, then the height of the text in the annotation style should also be set to 300 using that text style

The text height in the annotation style is fake and useless; you can set it to whatever value you want. The actual text height is determined by the height specified in the text style chosen for that annotation style. If you change the height in the text style and then add annotations, you will find that the height of the annotated text has changed. And this change only applies to future annotations; it has no effect on the text height of previously annotated elements. If you want to modify the annotations that have already been created, first change the height in the text style, then create a new annotation and use that new one to replace the old ones.
You can simply change the text style within the annotations; there’s no need to alter the text style in the formatting settings. Generally, when changing the height of the text in annotations, it’s not necessary to change the text itself – just adjust the proportions. All standard elements such as arrows, offsets, and text height will change accordingly, which is very convenient and results in a neat and organized appearance
Yes, the font height is default to 0 in general text styles, and the same applies to annotation styles.
