I would like to ask what protective measures can be taken for pumps in areas with strong sandstorms and cold weather?
Block wind and maintain heat, then stop the pump to drain all accumulated liquid. Prevent fine sand and dust from entering the oil seals and mechanical seals.
The protection class and IP rating of its motor can be selected at a higher standard.

There is a dust-proof device for pumps, which consists of a bearing cover, a dust-proof disk, and a pump shaft. Both the bearing cover and the dust-proof disk are fitted over the pump shaft, with the dust-proof disk being located at the outer end of the bearing cover. A flow-diverting groove is provided in the outer end surface of the bearing cover, while protrusions are arranged on the end surface of the dust-proof disk; these protrusions fit into the flow-diverting groove. The cross-section of the flow-diverting groove is rectangular. A copper alloy block is embedded in the inner wall of the bearing cover, and a labyrinthine groove is provided in the surface where this copper alloy block contacts the pump shaft.
