When the current and slot temperature differ, the voltage also changes. There are many factors that affect voltage, so it cannot be generalized.
The cell temperature of Asahi Kasei’s electrolyzers is generally 85–90°C, and the cell voltage for new membranes is around 3.03 V.
Normally, the temperature of our electrolyzers is kept at around 85 degrees Celsius, plus or minus 3 degrees. We use products from Asahi Kasei. Operating voltage: the voltage per cell is about 2.1 volts
What can be provided now is just a range; the data obtained on-site is what truly matters, as it serves as a reference for control
What model of membrane are you using? Membranes from the F44 series are thinner, so the initial cell voltage is definitely lower. Membranes from the F68 series are thicker, which results in a higher initial cell voltage compared to other models, but the voltage remains more stable during prolonged operation.
The cell voltage is related to factors such as the electrolyzer model, the ion membrane type, the quality of the brine, the electrolyzer temperature, and the concentration of the catholyte solution; it cannot be generalized
The voltage of newly installed electrolyzers is generally around 3.05, but it depends on factors such as current density, electrolyte concentration, anode concentration, cell temperature, and the technical properties of the membrane.
Keep it between 87-89 degrees; when starting the system for the first time, the temperature rises to 80 degrees, and it can be increased by 1 degree per hour. If membranes of type 4402, 4403, or 6801 are used, the cell voltage is estimated to be around 3.10 volts.
