The performance of local manufacturers’ installations is average, and overall market transaction volume is increasing slowly. At present, most buyers are adopting a wait-and-see attitude toward the market, so it is expected that the market will remain stable in the short term. 　　The reference price in South China is 2800–2900. Current market trading activity is moderate; overall demand from downstream ester manufacturers is good, but buyers’ interest in purchasing remains low. Coupled with an ample local supply, the market is remaining stable for now. 　　The reference price in North China is 2,700–2,800; there has been no significant improvement in the atmosphere of market negotiations or in transaction volumes. The operating capacity of the local major chloroacetic acid manufacturers is gradually increasing. Under the current circumstances, the market is showing a slow upward trend.
