As the title suggests, it concerns how to scientifically and reasonably evaluate and effectively measure the workload of various positions and individuals during the actual implementation of a project. Please discuss the actual implementation rules of advanced large companies at home and abroad.
Specifically, it is about how to scientifically determine the labor cost per hour for various positions in each work unit.
I would also like everyone to talk about how their respective companies approach this, and whether there are better methods and principles. It also helps to improve the level of management of our engineering projects and facilitate integration with large foreign companies.
I have worked in a design institute for many years, and measuring the amount of work involved in design is a rather complicated task. Traditionally, the workload is calculated based on the number of drawings (converted into standard sheets), and man-hours are measured using a standard working time that must be agreed upon by all parties involved; this makes it possible to carry out such measurements. However, due to the varying levels of complexity of design projects as well as the actual conditions of each project, there are many uncertainties, which makes it difficult to establish such a standard working time.
