On the pipeline layout diagram outside the plant, can the distances between fittings and other elements not be drawn according to actual dimensions? Just label it with the actual size

Actual dimensions such as tube spacing are shown in the cross-sectional view
Personally, I think it’s okay. In our department, sometimes due to issues with the size of the drawings, the drawings aren’t drawn to scale; but this usually applies to just one or two pipes. If there are more pipes, it’s better to use a larger scale
