Environmental Protection Management System for Ammonia Synthesis Plant Projects: 1. Strictly enforce and implement relevant national and local laws and regulations on environmental protection, in order to prevent environmental pollution and disturbance to local residents. 2. The production organization design must take environmental protection measures into account and implement them in the production process. 3. Conduct regular environmental protection awareness campaigns to continuously improve employees’ awareness of environmental protection and their understanding of relevant laws and regulations. 4. All types of wastewater must be treated centrally, with progressive purification to ensure discharge meets regulatory standards; direct discharge or discharge through multiple outlets is strictly prohibited. 5. The waste oil generated from equipment maintenance must first be recycled; in cases where recycling is not possible, it should be cleaned with cotton yarn and then disposed of collectively. All oil and water discharged from process equipment must be sent to the oil recovery system; it is strictly prohibited to discharge such oil and water directly into drains. 6. Near equipment and facilities that generate waste liquids, waste liquid collection tanks must be installed to recycle the waste liquids produced during production or maintenance; various ammonia water systems can be used for concentration or distillation recovery. It is strictly prohibited to use water to wash equipment or waste liquids and oils on the floor, as this may cause pollution of water sources. 7. Materials such as coal dust and slag that are prone to generating fly ash should be stored indoors whenever possible; outdoor storage areas must be regularly sprayed with water to prevent the formation of fly ash. 8. All coal and slag crushing systems, as well as flue gas emission systems, are required to operate in a sealed environment to remove dust; for equipment that operates in an unsealed environment, effective dust removal facilities must be installed, and fly ash must be collected regularly. 11. All coal-fired flue gases or industrial waste gases must be fully burned through a flare or heat recovery system; direct emission into the atmosphere is strictly prohibited. 12. The burning of any type of waste is strictly prohibited at all construction sites. 13. All types of waste generated during the production process, such as waste chemicals, waste catalysts, production waste, defective products, and other materials that cannot be reused within the production cycle, must be strictly classified according to relevant regulations and industry standards, with corresponding management levels assigned to each category. For toxic and hazardous substances for which enterprises do not possess the capability to remove their toxicity, such substances must be handed over to **designated professional recycling agencies for disposal, and proper records must be kept regarding the management of these waste toxic substances. 14. Items such as oils and chemical solvents that must be stored during the production process should be kept in dedicated warehouses, with the floors treated to prevent leaks. Discarded oils and chemical solvents must be treated in a centralized manner; they shall not be dumped indiscriminately. 15. The sediment generated during wastewater treatment must be treated using biochemical or physicochemical methods to bring it in line with waste standards, or it must be processed through inter-industry conversion processes. It is strictly prohibited to use untreated sediment as fertilizer or to dispose of it in the open air. Such sediment must be buried at a depth of at least 1.5 meters; the timing, location of burial, as well as the total amount and composition of the sediment must be reported in advance to the environmental protection authorities for approval. 16. Any earthwork or infrastructure construction must first be approved and registered with the environmental protection authorities, and environmental protection measures such as those to prevent dust, water leakage, and soil erosion must be put in place, along with appropriate environmental impact assessments. 17. Noise reduction measures should be implemented at the production site in accordance with the current **standard noise limits and their measurement methods
