Problems with the pressure measurement port

Today I saw a flowchart in which the measurement ports of the pressure gauge were marked as AB – indicating that it’s the same pressure gauge for both ports. I’m not sure what this means
Differential pressure; the tag name should be PD××××, it could also be flow rate – measuring differential pressure

It would be best to have an image to look at. If it’s a pressure gauge, the symbol should be PDG, indicating that it measures pressure difference; if it’s a pressure transmitter, the symbol should be PDT, and in that case it may measure pressure difference or it may be used in combination with a orifice plate to measure flow rate. The original poster should take a screenshot and post it.
