Could anyone please help me with the information and precautions related to the maintenance process during the overhaul of a symmetrically balanced 4-stage piston compressor? Please provide detailed content, thank you.
The factory should have maintenance manuals, which can be borrowed from the archives to study carefully*. Alternatively, you can consult a compressor repair technician. Also, keep track of the entire maintenance process; by assisting the technician during this process, he will be more willing to teach you. Take the time to note down whatever you want to know
Maintenance tasks: 1. Remove the transmission components – crankshaft, connecting rod, crosshead; Inspect the crosshead slider and the wear condition of the surface of each shaft bearing section; perform dye penetrant testing on the crankshaft ; Repair or replace tiles that are severely worn out ; 2. Disassemble pistons at various levels, stuffing boxes, as well as intake and exhaust valves ; Replace packing, guide rings, and piston rings at all levels; inspect and replace valve discs and springs ; 3 sets of coolers at all levels were cleaned and overhauled ; Clean the cylinder liners and cylinder heads of each stage of the compressor ; 4. Drain all the lubricating oil from the crankcase, clean up any remaining oil, and wipe the crankcase clean. The oil filter was replaced, the leaks in the oil system were fixed, and the faulty oil pump was repaired ; Inspect the 4 pairs of compressor outlet check valves ; Inspect the compressor process gas discharge valve ; Check the interlock system using 5 instruments and electrical controls; inspect and maintain the turntable motor, oil pump motor, and pneumatic control valves ; 6 sets of drive motors were overhauled in the electrical department, including the excitation system ;
