In just 20 years, 30% of the coke ovens experienced flame leakage at the outlet of the small flue – specifically at the point where this small flue meets the exhaust gas duct. This problem persists from year to year; I hope everyone can share any effective solutions for dealing with flame leakage at the outlet of the small flue. There is backfire; by opening the plug brick of the temperature sensing hole on the exhaust manifold, one can see the blue flame, whose intensity varies. Our approach involved grouting the brick gas ducts and performing internal spraying, which was effective, but the leak reoccurred not long after the repairs were done. Dear friends, please help me come up with some ideas. :handshake
What type of coke oven is it? Side injection/underfire? What model?
