Deeply inserted fitting with exhaust vent

In the design of pressure vessels, when deep-inserted nozzles are used, an exhaust vent must be provided on the nozzle near the top interior of the vessel. Why?
It balances the pressure inside and outside the tube, preventing backflow of the medium due to siphoning.
It depends on what function this pipe serves. If it is for liquid inlet, a anti-siphon hole needs to be provided; if it is for gas inlet or outlet, then no such hole is necessary
Generally, only the liquid inlet pipeline requires a siphon outlet; its function is to balance the pressure inside and outside the pipe and prevent backflow of the liquid
