The Spring Festival couplet collection campaign has come to an end. Thank you to all members for their support. For more details, please visit http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-378389-1-1.html. We are now planning to select the best couplets so that awards can be presented. Due to differences in literary skills, there are varying interpretations of the artistic atmosphere conveyed by the authors. It’s a shame that, according to Chinese folk tradition, the Spring Festival should last from New Year’s Eve to the 15th day of the first lunar month. However, the events end on February 8th, and February 9th is the Lantern Festival in China; it should have ended by February 10th at the very least. As a result, we missed this year’s most interesting couplet for the Spring Festival: the first line reads “On New Year’s Eve, Xiao Shenyang is celebrated,” while the second line reads “On the Lantern Festival, big underwear is set on fire.” Subtitle: CCTV has no shortage of money

The Spring Festival couplets created by the Desert Populus moderator are not only numerous (I counted them – there are 10 in total), but they are also of high quality. I really doubt he has a background in the humanities.
