Are circular baffle plates in GB151 difficult to manufacture? This is because the tube holes distributed at the inner circle cutting site may have been cut less in some cases and more in others, resulting in great irregularity. So how is it handled in the manufacturing plant?
There shouldn’t be any difficulties in processing; using matching drills will suffice. However, I feel that this type of baffle is not very commonly used; generally, only an annular support plate is installed at the very end of the tube bundle in floating-head condensers.
Processing is not difficult; there are no issues.

No problem. Generally, the safest method is to drill holes simultaneously with those of other baffle plates. After drilling, the positions of almost all holes are consistent, making it easy to insert tubes. The notched arc-shaped plate is removed, and the annular plate has its unnecessary parts cut off using appropriate machining methods. It doesn’t matter how big the holes are.
