At 21:30 on February 9, the gasifier of Yitai Coal-to-Oil Company was successfully started up for the first time
On February 20th, I went to the Development and Reform Commission in Ordos City to handle some matters. There, I saw the documents submitted by Yitai to the Industrial Department. The situation is roughly as follows: Yitai’s air separation unit has already produced qualified oxygen and nitrogen, the gasification furnace has been successfully dried, and the other workshops are currently in the process of debugging
Where is Yitai in Inner Mongolia, and is it far from Shenhua?
It’s not far away, just over 80 kilometers from coal-to-oil production, located in Zhungeer Banner, Ordos
Inner Mongolia Yitai Coal-to-Oil Facility is located in the Dalu New Area of Zhunqi County, while Inner Mongolia Shenhua Coal-to-Oil Facility is situated in Yiqi County. Qualified products were produced on December 31, 2008. Another facility is under construction in Halingger Town, Baotou City
Keep an eye on the project progress, hoping for oil production soon
Itai’s project was started quite early on; why isn’t any oil product available yet? Is it because of the sharp drop in crude oil prices, and the owner no longer wants to proceed with it? If any fellow travelers know about it, please introduce it.
