To measure the density of tamped briquettes, the answer I got from the forum is: 1. After tamping, push it out. Take the upper, middle and lower points (a total of 9 points) on the machine side, the coke side, and the middle of the briquettes (9 points in total). Use a cutter to cut out 100* 100 * 100 briquettes, weigh the weight and measure the density. 2. Put a special iron box (with a certain volume) into the tamping box and tamp it together, then take it out and measure the density. My personal opinion is that although the first method can be accurately measured, the briquettes are too high and are not easy to take out, and are dangerous. The second method is that the iron box is easily deformed by pounding, and it is easy to damage the equipment, and it is even more difficult to take out. I personally think that both methods are not very good. In normal production, the briquettes must be loaded into the furnace immediately after being tamped, which is inconvenient for sampling and measurement. Is there an inconvenient and safe method? Can any experienced seniors share their experience in your factory?
If there is a track scale on the tamping car track, the density of the coal cake can be calculated by dividing the difference in weight of the tamping car before and after loading coal by the volume of the coal cake.
This is a good note, but would it be a bit expensive to install a track scale? Hey, may I ask how you control it there?
