In general chemical enterprises, gas chromatography analysis requires the use of hydrogen cylinders, nitrogen cylinders, and compressed air cylinders; storing them in the laboratory does not ensure their safety. Gas cylinder cabinets can be purchased for separate storage; these cabinets are equipped with ventilation systems.
Special storage rooms are usually built outdoors! If it is placed indoors, it is not safe and cannot pass safety inspections!

Here is a brief introduction to our facility: Considering the safety issues related to gas cylinders, we have built a small, simple shed outside the laboratory; it is made of iron and well-ventilated. However, during the fire safety inspection, it was determined that the site did not meet the fire protection standards, and the design team needed to be asked to select a new location for the design. After consulting with the fire department, we chose a new location to build a small cylinder room, which contains cylinders of three types: hydrogen cylinders, compressed air cylinders, and nitrogen cylinders. The roof is a lightweight one, with ventilation openings on the sides at the top. An explosion-proof wall is built along the side facing the road; the door is not oriented towards the road, and another explosion-proof wall is constructed about 1 meter away from the door entrance. The door is locked at all times! There are no electrical appliances such as lights inside the house. It was quite troublesome; it’s only now that it has passed the fire safety inspection! !
We have a separately designed storage room next to the laboratory dedicated to storing gas cylinders; that’s how our laboratory is set up. The warehouse should have good ventilation; it’s sufficient to regularly check for leaks of hazardous gases such as H2, and generally there are no issues

It must be placed outdoors, in a structure built to protect it from sunlight and rain, equipped with devices to prevent falls, and featuring separate areas for full and empty bottles. The fluid is transported through pipes into the analysis room. This ensures successful approval of the safety facilities ; It also ensures the safety of the analysis room.
