Is steam used as the heat source in the conversion and synthesis units for methanol production? Should we still use a heat transfer oil furnace? What is the heat source used in dimethyl ether synthesis?

For the second floor, what kind of heating is used for medium-temperature desulfurization of methanol synthesis gas? According to the feasibility study here, a combined heating furnace is to be used, with methanol off-gas as the fuel – is it by directly burning the off-gas for heating? The desulfurization of syngas, as you mentioned, is carried out using high-pressure steam; in most cases, steam is used for heating during operation. It seems that Guochang uses electric heaters for heating, but these heaters are located outside the tower.
