If foreign technology is used for low-temperature methanol washing, the technical costs amount to approximately 2–3 million euros; all of the equipment can be domestically produced, resulting in total costs of no more than 280 million yuan (including design, construction, and procurement costs). If domestic technology is employed, the technical costs can be reduced by about 20 million yuan; Except for the methanol pump used for degassing, all equipment is domestically produced and highly mature; with strict procurement controls, the investment for the entire installation will not exceed 250 million. Liquid nitrogen washing can be fully localized in China; based on current costs, the total investment is approximately 35 million yuan. For sulfur recovery using the three-stage Claus process, without a tail gas recovery unit and relying on domestic technology, the investment amount does not exceed 25 million yuan; even if a tail gas recovery unit is included, the investment still remains below 36 million yuan. If foreign technology is used, an additional cost of around 10 million yuan in technology fees will be required.
