I encountered the following problem at work. I wonder if any senior expert can give me some advice?: When uploading the program of SIEMENS S7 200 (CPU226 CN, CPU224 CN), the software is automatically closed at the end when the programming software is uploaded in the Chinese language environment. ; When the programming software is uploaded in the English language environment, a block version error appears at the end. I don’t know how to solve this problem. Three versions of programming software have been tried: STEP 7 MicroWIN SP4, STEP 7 MicroWIN SP6, STEP 7 MicroWIN SP7. It is suspected that the PLC program has settings such as password protection that prohibits uploading, but there is no prompt for entering a password during the uploading process.
Have you checked the communication settings? The problem may be there.
Communication settings? The PG/PC interface is set to PC/PPI cable (PPI), the communication setting is default, double-click to refresh and find the CPU. The same settings can be uploaded successfully on some PLCs, but some PLCs really cannot. Thanks to the moderator~!
Try it with STEP 7 MicroWIN SP5! SIEMENS S7 is weird: It is not compatible from top to bottom! hehe!
I have never encountered such a problem. Maybe which program is MICROWIN3.2?
Is the S7-200 CN CPU made in China? Use STEP 7-Micro/WIN V4.0 SP3 to set the environment to Chinese state. Give it a try.
Thank you all for your advice, the problem has been solved now. If the program could not be downloaded, I had to ask the manufacturer for a copy, and then re-enter it into the PLC. There was no problem in uploading and downloading. Later, I consulted the old master, and his opinion was that the problem was with the programming cable, because I was using an ordinary PPI cable. Later, I used an original German SIEMENS PPI programming cable he brought and there was no problem. Thank you again~!
